My favorite is number 5. I thought for the longest on having weight loss surgery. I thought about past failures and then I thought about finally winning. I left all negative thoughts out of the equation. I decided what I would be, who I would be, and how I was going to do it. And 4 years later I’ve done it.
Its important to set small goals for yourself. Don’t try and make that goal unattainable. Make it something that you can reach so you have a reason to feel great about yourself. There’s nothing more demoralizing than setting the bar out of reach and then you’re down on yourself. The pity party with pizza, cake, and ice cream comes out.
Make your goals small then increase them as you go. Encourage yourself. Don’t sabotage yourself.
